Always a favorite among NAKIDs - we're going Tubing out near Harpers Ferry, WV. Fall NAKIDs only on this trip and it's just $27 for the bus, beer, and tube. We'll be leaving My Brother's Place promptly at 10am (don't be late), so plan on getting to MBP at 9:30am. We'll check in with River Rivers at 11:30am, and be on the river at 12:30pm. We'll depart the river at 4:30, depart Harper's Ferry at 5:30, and be back at MBP at about 7pm.
 Come on out to RFD on Thursday, July 16th at 6:30pm for great food, great happy hour specials, and a bunch of swag (posters, beach balls, and free advanced screening movie tickets) for the new movie Orphan. We'll have a giveaway for 20 advanced screener tickets (at Regal Gallery Place on Tuesday, July 21st). Happy Hour specials include: $3 Miller Lights and $5 selected appetizers and run from 4pm - 7pm. The giveaway will begin at 7:30pm.
Each time we post this event, we always try to think of something clever to say about how much fun this is. Simply put, if you've never done beer-in-hand kickball or seen the DC United team play, you're in for a crazy good time!
So, we are heading to RFK to see the DC United play. We will have tickets on about the 40 yard line (in football terms) and at the 200 level. Our section will be all NAKIDs. And that is all well and good and would be fun. But this is NAKID and that's not enough.... (click to read more)
